2. Should I choose Quartz or Natural Stone?
This is one of our most asked questions! The answer depends on your lifestyle:
- Quartz: This is a man-made stone that is incredibly durable and never needs to be sealed. It’s perfect for busy families because it’s stain-resistant and comes in very consistent colors.
- Natural Stone (Granite/Marble): If you want a one-of-a-kind look, natural stone is the way to go. Each slab is unique, with patterns created by nature. These stones do require a simple sealing process every now and then to keep them looking their best.

Yes! While we are famous for our massive selection of stone, we are a full-service kitchen and bath partner. We offer a full range of cabinetry, tile, sinks, and backsplashes to bring your entire vision to life. 4. How do I take care of my new countertops?
For most surfaces, daily cleaning is simple: just use warm water, a mild dish soap, and a soft cloth.
- Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Stay away from bleach or abrasive scrubbers that can dull the surface over time.
- Use Trivets: Even though many stones are heat-resistant, we always recommend using a trivet or hot pad for pots and pans straight off the stove to protect your investment.
5. What happens first: the cabinets or the countertops?
In a typical remodel, the cabinets are installed first. Once your cabinets are securely in place, our team comes out to take precise measurements (called a “template”) of your space. This ensures your new countertops fit perfectly against your walls and around your sink.
By choosing us for both your cabinets and stone, you ensure the scheduling is seamless and the measurements are exact.
6. How long does the process take?
Every project is unique, but we pride ourselves on having some of the best turnaround times in the industry. Once your cabinets are in and we have taken the final measurements of your space, the “template to install” window for your countertops is usually much faster than people expect. We know the kitchen is the heart of your home, and we work hard to get you back into it quickly.
7. Can I see the actual slab that will be in my home?
Absolutely. We believe that seeing a small sample isn’t enough. At our showrooms, you can walk through our yard and pick out the exact slab that will be installed in your kitchen. This is especially important for natural stones with lots of movement and veining.
